A Concert to 20 years of the STOP Destruction of the World Association

It was a day that deserved celebration, music and culture. The STOP the Destruction of the World Association celebrated 20 years of international initiatives to bring consciousness of the root causes of human destruction – something no other environmental or human rights NGO is doing.

The auditorium at historic Stella Maris School in São Paulo was filled with an international audience to commemorate with music and celebration.

The high point was a presentation by STOP founder, Dr. Claudia Bernhardt de Souza Pacheco, who traced a brief history of her significant organization, which was founded on June 28, 1992 in Paris. Her inspiration for the NGO came during her visit to Fátima, Portugal.
Over these 20 years, STOP has stayed true to its inspired mandate – to sponsor events, create media and encourage individuals worldwide to become conscious of the problems facing humanity, and work towards practical solutions.

STOP have held successful events and forums in Paris, Lisbon, London, Stockholm, Helsinki, Moscow, Lucca, and in a number of Brazilian states.

The December 8th event, just like all STOP presentations, featured performance by an international group of artists and musicians. Check out the photos below.
